Staff were so lovely and helpful. Location is brilliant for everything and breakfast was good. The hotel is old fashioned and some aspects of the room could be updated slightly but not to remove the quaint aspect of it.
Edit: we left at 3:15am and the staff made up a breakfast bag for us and made sure we knew where we were going. I found this so helpful and lovely.
We stayed here for 3 nights as a quick getaway. We didn't bother with the breakfast as found Farini round the corner was good enough and cheap for a quick bite. The room had no issues for the price and had good pressure in the shower. It was clean and tidy and no faults.
All the staff were great but we saw Lara and Marco the most who were great to us. Would likely return for the deluxe room. Thanks
We stayed here last week for 3 nights. It was a really nice stay, in a really good location, quiet, friendly staff and had everything you needed and more. The breakfast was lovely, and it was worth it for us as we didn’t want the extra hassle of finding breakfast before our long days.
The staff - especially Marco was super friendly and accommodating. It was easy to find, and they told us the best route to get to and from the hotel ( Google maps isn’t the most reliable).
The only issue we had was the room had a slight scent to it. Especially going back after a long day, it just wasn’t very pleasant. I don’t know if it’s from the restaurant next door as our room was at the end of the corridor, next to it or just the furniture.
I think for the price, especially with the breakfast rate it was more than worth it. It really felt like we were in the heart of what Venice is about, and away from the tourist areas.
We’re going to be returning to Venice and will definitely consider coming here again.
We had one of the basic rooms, but it was lovely and comfortable and very quiet even though it was next to the stairs. Lovely breakfast, although the coffee could be a bit better. The hotel is down a side street but is only a short walk from Rialto and St Marks. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful place to stay. Excellent location, rooms comfortable and very clean with masses of hot water for shower. Room very quiet with great soundproofing. All the staff we met were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely abundant breakfast with lots of choice and even a pack-up breakfast provided for our early departure time. Highly recommend a stay here.
Cute hotel and courteous staff. The location is pretty close to Rialto bridge, but if you're walking all the way with luggage, it might get a little difficult. The hotel is in one of the inner alleys and they have clear signs to point you in the right direction. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is quite large for Italian standards. Overall, an amazing stay and I would highly recommend the place.
Note for travelers with heavy luggage, it was a 5-6 min moderately easy push of luggage in narrow walkways from the Rialto Grand Canal stop of the Water Bus to the hotel.
The room was exactly what we expected. Francesco was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. We took the Water Bus #1 from the train station to the hotel - worked fine. Great location - right between Rialto Bridge and St Mark's. Short, pretty walk
